Forging/Enhancing

On the bottom of the screen, Tap on Armory > Forge

You'll see NPC: Baldon in the background.
From there you can Forge, Enhance, and evolve equipments, as well as enhance Magi, Change Abilities and Selling them to the NPC when your inventory is full!

Forging
Tap on "Forge Weapon" or "Forge Armor". Then select the equipment you esnt to forge to see it's stats and required materials. Equipments/Materials that are greyed out means that you do not have enough materials to craft them.

Enhancing/Evolving
Equipment with an "Evolve" icon tells you that the piece of equipment can be evolved after you level it up to max level. (The evolve icon will be displayed only if you access it via your equipment set list) Evolving equipment adds element and increases the stats of your equipment. After evolving, you can further enhance your evolved equipments which will further increase it's capabilities.

Limit Break
Limit breaking an equipment will enhance it's stats and unlock Magi slots. You can limit break an equipment 4 times max, increasing it's stats/ magi slot each time. Lapis, which can be obtained by selling behemoth tablets and equipment, are needed to perform limit break.

Summoning Tips and Tricks!

So you just started Dragon Project and you have alot of questions mainly:
Is this game free to play?
Where do i start?
How can i advance in the game as fast as possible?

Personally i feel this game is very free to play (as compared to other games which doesn't give away gacha credits often), they are very generous when giving out gems as long as you are active. There are daily missions, weekly missions, story missions, and events where you can earn Gems which is used to summon behemoth and magi. You might have heard from some people that it is not free to play, you cant advance in the game without paying, the devs are greedy etc. Yes free to play players would not advance as fast as pay to win players to a certain extent (im talking about people who spent over thousands of dollars), but it is not impossible as long as you follow the following tips and tricks!

Save Save Save!
Both tickets and gems can be obtained from missions and events. However, Tickets can only be used to summon Behemoth while Gems can be used to summon both Behemoth and Gems. Also, Tickets have an expiry date and only Gems can be used for Step Up Gacha.

What you should do is to complete all the Story Missions which would give you about 4k gems or so. As you do Story Missions, you get better with the controls and also with time, understand the game better. Save all that 4k gems and use it on 1 banner that you really like! 4k gems should be able to get you one complete set of equipment (unless you are unlucky..) I know it is tempting! What i do to resist the temptation? I use the ticket summons everytime i have enough :P You can't use tickets to get the effect of the step up gacha so the rates are really low as compared to you using gems to get the rates up for the next summon.. So might as well try my luck on ticket. 95% of the time i get nothing from ticket summon so.. Just do it! :P

Please..
Do NOT spend the gems everytime you have enough.. It will be hard for you to get any set of equipment as the gacha banners only last for a few weeks (some even days). You would have to grind the Story Missions hardcore to spam on that banner before it ends :P Secondly, make sure you do the Daily Missions and Weekly Missions! Completing Daily Missions gets you 5 gems everyday and competing all the daily missions 7 days a week would get you 25 gems. In total, you will get 60 Gems per week. After you complete your Story Missions, you will have to complete Limited time Events for gems! They do give a generous amount of Gems too (About 100 or more per event), and save again for the next set!

Read more about Events
Read more about Missions

What about tickets?
As mentioned above, Tickets can only be used to summon behemoth while Gems can be used to summon both behemoth and magi. So it is important for you to use tickets on the behemoth and gems for magi. Because magi plays an important part of the game too! It could determine whether you fail that fight! It's not all about the equipment. Magi and Equipment work hand in hand. The best way to get a balance between Magi and Equipment is to use gems for magi and tickets for behemoth summon. Tickets can be obtained easily from events and weekly missions. After you get a decent attack/support/recovery/passive Magi, you save all your remaining gems for behemoth summon!

Read more about Magi

Oh one last thing!
It is highly recommended to summon a behemoth/magi only when you have enough for a 10+1 summon. Normally, it cost 150 gems for 10+1 magi summon and 250 gems or 50 tickets for a 10+1 behemoth summon. While.. it cost 15 gems for a single magi summon and 25 gems for a single behemoth summon. You get where im coming from! :P Oh and the 11th summon will be Guaranteed S and above too!

Dont be too upset if you didn't get SS! Because S, A and B tablets can be used as Limit Break materials!

Clan

Clan is an exclusive feature on Dragon Project Global.

Clan Registration
Image from Official Dragon Project
Registering a Clan will require the Clan Master to pay 15 gems and joining an existing clan would be free. The Clan Master have the option to choose Clan Emblems from a list of preset images. Clan Tag is where you enter a short form of your Clan. (e.g. One Piece Clan Tag: OP) It is your team identity. However, in case you want to rebrand your Clan, you can do so after your Clan is set up. Also, do set a distinctive description of your Clan so you can attract hunters to join your Clan!

There are three types of Clan: Public, Private and Closed
Public: your Clan will be searchable, and membership don’t require Clan Master’s approval
Private: your Clan will be searchable, but membership requires Clan Master’s approval
Closed: your Clan won’t be searchable, but Clan Master can still send invites

Clan Chat
Clan Chat is an exclusive chat room just for your clan!
Clan Masters will have the option to pin any important messages for your clan members (by holding onto the message that you’d like to pin and choose the option Pin) on top of the Clan Chat. With this, hunters would not rely so much on third party chatting apps to coordinate with each other as they can do so in game. *The chats are currently stored for 12 hours and it would show most recent 30 messages.

Clan Donation
Image from Official Dragon Project
No time to farm materials to upgrade/evolve your equipment? Fret not! With this feature, you can Request or Donate from/to your Clan mates any materials needed to upgrade your equipment.
Few things to take note of:
1. You can only donate/request Materials.
2. Everyone has a limit to the number of Obtained Donation per day, it is capped at 100.
3. There is no limit to the amount of Donations you can make.
4. Donation Request will expire after 4 hours if it's not fulfilled. Upon expiry, you will still get the amount of Materials that other Hunters have donated.
5. You can only start donating / requesting 2 hours after you joined a Clan.

Pikke's Shop

Looking for a shortcut to get the materials needed to upgrade/evolve your equipment?
Pikke's Shop is the place to go!

Pikke’s Shop is where you get your Dragon Project essentials with points earned from defeating Behemoths. "Essentials" includes: Summon Tickets, Crystals, Potions, Magi Materials, Monster Material etc (I do trade my points for alot of these materials quite often :P There is a limit on the amount of material you can get per month for most materials tho. Some are unlimited.)

To buy something from Pikke’s Shop, you have to pay with points. You get these points by battling Behemoths. Dont forget to check out Pikke's Event Shop during events as he might have some event limited materials for sale! (used to enhance an event limited equipment) At Pikke's Event Shop, only Event Points are accepted and you can earn them by participating in the Event.

Limit Break

Equipment that has a "Limit Break" button in the equipment detail page can have it's stats enhanced or Magi slots unlocked by clicking on "Limit Break" from the "Enhance Equip" on the Forge screen.

What is Limit Break?
Limit Break means breaking the limits of your equipment and doing so will unlock bonus effects.
Bonus effects can include an increase in Attack, Defence, Health or an extra Magi slot. Each time you perform limit break on a piece of equipment, it will gain a star and one bonus effect. You can Limit Break repeatedly to a maximum of four stars, giving you a total of four bonus effects per equipment. Limit breaking a Behemoth equipment that came from your summon will give you an extra Magi slot on the 4th star.

So how do i perform Limit Break?
By consuming "Lapis" and "Rainbow Lapis"! These lapis can be obtained by selling your behemoth tablets and equipments.

Types of Lapis
Lapis is a material that is needed to limit break weapons or armor.
There are 2 categories of Lapis: Normal and Rainbow Lapis
The Rainbow Lapis are used to limit break equipment forged from Behemoth Tablets while Normal Lapis are used to limit break equipment obtained through events.

Rainbow Lapis Name List
SS Rainbow Arc Lapis
S Rainbow High Lapis
A Rainbow Lapis
B Rainbow Lapis Shard

Normal Lapis Name List
SS Arc Lapis
S High Lapis
A Lapis
B Lapis Shard

Specific Lapis
There are also specific Lapis (e.g. SS Armor Arc Lapis/SS Sword & Shield Arc Lapis/SS Great Sword Arc Lapis/SS Spear Arc Lapis, etc.) These Lapis are usually given out as event rewards (or sold at the Shop). They can only be used to limit break specific equipment (as indicated in its name). For example, the Armor Arc Lapis is only for limit breaking armor pieces. They usually have an expiry date so make sure you use it before it expire!

Amount of Lapis needed
Depending on the rank (SS/S/A/B/C) of your equipment, the type and quantity of Lapis needed will be different.
For example, to Limit Break a SS equipment,
it would require...
 30 A Rainbow Lapis, or
10 S Rainbow High Lapis, or
1 SS Rainbow Arc Lapis

Lounge

When you reach level 15, you get access to the Lounge. This is a feature i use everyday!

The Lounge allows you to gather and play together with your friends. Each Lounge can only allow a maximum of 8 members. You can play with real-life friends by inviting them to join a private Lounge. (Make sure you "followed" each other first!)

You can also create a public lounge to make new friends! (Trust me, I've made countless of new friends from lounge :3)

Click on the Lounge Icon at the Bottom Left side of the screen.
From here, you can Create a Lounge, Find a Lounge (which are set to "Public") and Search for Lounges with mutual followers.

After you create/join the Lounge, click on the Lounge Setting at the bottom left to check your Lounge ID which your friends can use to find your Lounge. You can check on other members from the "Members List" from the Quest Board or the Lounge Settings and select a friend to teleport to where they are!

Perks?
Being in a Lounge is like being in your own world with no one else around except your friends who are in the Lounge with you. When you go to the open field, you will only see your other Lounge members. Which is.. Awesomeeeee! This means you won't have to worry about other hunters steal killing your mobs in a crowded field! (Ugh i know it sucks) Oh oh! And you will also get bonus drop chest from your Lounge member's kill! It's Neon Green in colour you wont miss it! Magic gathered in portals will also be shared between members and you can earn gold and EXP from monsters slayed by the other players in your Lounge! If you’re in a Lounge alone, you can have the fields all to yourself :O

Lounge Party
When in a Lounge, you can choose to create a party exclusively for Lounge members. Your behemoth quest will appear on the Lounge's Quest Board! Look out for the exclaimational mark on the Quest Board and help your Lounge members battle their Behemoth!

Lounge Chat
Before you head out together to battle a behemoth (Especially very hard ones in events...), you might want to talk tactics and compare strategies with your team! This is where the Lounge Chat comes in! Bored farming in field while your friend is doing expeditions? You can use the Lounge chat anywhere and everyone in the Lounge can see it too!

Rally for help
If you’re in a Lounge, you’ll also see a Rally button (that looks like a hunting horn) when you’re out in the fields, or in battle. This button allows you rally for help from Lounge members by tapping on the Horn icon at the left side of your screen. When tapped, your other Lounge members will receive an invitation to join you.

*Lounges are not permanent. If everyone leaves, the Lounge gets disbanded automatically.
You can only be in one Lounge at a time. However, you are always free to leave and join other Lounges.*

Magi

Magi is a stone which contains a stone.
In simple terms, Magi = Skill

Magi plays an important role when battling a behemoth. The right Magi can be the difference between you winning or losing a battle. You can use your Magi on the field by inserting it into your equipment's Magi Slot. Magi can be activated when it's Magi Gauge is full. The Magi Gauge increases with specific action, attacks and with time.

There are 4 types of Magi: Attack, Support, Recovery and Passive

Attack Magi (Red Colour)
Attack Magi can only be equipped to weapons. It deals damage when activated. Attack Magi comes in different elements. Make sure you take into consideration the behemoth element weakness and use it to your advantage! As damage value depends on the weapon's non-elemental attack and elemental attack, damage increases by combining Magi elements and weapon elements

Support Magi (Blue Colour)
Support Magi can only be equipped to weapons also. It allows you to add special effects to your weapon as a support for a limited time (e.g. Increase attack, Increase defence, Increase movement speed for 30 seconds etc)

Recovery Magi (Green Colour)
Recovery Magi can only be equipped to weapons. Some Recovery Magi may allows you to restore HP not just for yourself but also for your team mates.

Passive Magi (Yellow Colour)
Passive Magi are called Ability Enhance Magi and it is the only type of Magi that can be equipped to armor. They are passive because unlike the Attack, Support and Recovery Magi, they do not need to be activated on the field. They enhance your stats (e.g. Increase HP, Increase Attack, Increase Defence)

Shadow Behemoth

Shadow Behemoths are shadow versions of original SS and S ranked Behemoths.

You will not get Tablets when you defeat Shadow Behemoth. What you will get is the materials needed to enhance and evolve your equipment. After you forged your equipment using the tablet dropped by Original Behemoth, you kill Shadow version of the Behemoth for it's material and use it to level your equipment.

Everyday we can challenge up to 5 shadows by going to NPC: Axel in town
*Higher-level Behemoths drop more higher-grade materials.*

In April 2018, a new feature: Shadow Quest Bonus was implemented.

Shadow Quest Bonus are Shadow Quests credits given during the Hunter Grand Prix Event, proportional to the number of Summon Quests you have won as a host during the event period. The credits add on to the number of times you can challenge Shadow Quests the next day.
*The credits do not include the default 5 Challenge count.

For example, during the Hunter Grand Prix Event,
First day of event: I killed 6 original behemoth (regardless of rank. B, A, S, SS)
Second day of event: Shadow Quest Count = 5 (default number) + 6 (bonus)
Total: 11 Shadow Challenge Count on the second day

Elements

There are four elements in Dragon Project: Fire, Water, Earth and Lightning.
Every Behemoth with an element has element weakness. There is also behemoths without an element! (e.g.

You can check their element and weaknesses on the Quest screen before you start the battle

Elemental Attack

If you are going against an Earth-element behemoth, you should equip yourself with a Fire-element weapon to increase your damage! (You will be surprised that there's actually a huge difference!) Oh and you should attach a Fire attack magi in your Fire-element weapon too!

*Not every equipment has elements. Also, you can sometimes choose between a normal (non-elemental) evolve or an elemental evolve after you have max upgraded your weapon. If you pick the elemental evolve, your equipment will gain an element. (e.g. Wukong Spear)*

Elemental Defense

For Elemental Defense, you should wear an armor that will help defend against the behemoth's Earth Attacks. So if you are battling an Earth-element behemoth, make sure you are equipped with a Earth-element Armor!

*For older Behemoth equipment sets (before Paradise Houran sometime in October 2017), the elemental defense of the armor matches the elemental attack of the weapon. That means if you have an older equipment set such as the Scorcher’s Set, the weapon deals fire elemental ATK and the armor defends against fire attacks.

For the newer Behemoth equipment sets, this has been tweaked so that the armor will be complementary. For instance, the Blackfire Set weapon deals fire ATK while the armor defends against Earth DMG.*

In a Nutshell,
Against a Fire Behemoth, Use Water Weapon and Magi and Fire Armor
Against a Water Behemoth, Use Lightning Weapon and Magi and Water Armor
Against a Lightning Behemoth, Use Earth Weapon and Magi and Lightning Armor
Against a Earth Behemoth, Use Fire Weapon and Magi and Earth Armor

Status Ailments

Stun

When you are stunned, you will see stars circling your head and you won’t be able to move or attack. However you can keep tapping for a faster recovery.

Paralysis

Some monsters are able to paralyse you with their attacks. If you are paralyzed, you will be lying on the ground for a while. There isn’t any easy way to speed up recovery from paralysis. However, Attack Magi such as Thunderous Boulder and Xenota Axe offer some protection against paralysis. Support Magi like Smite Spite gives anti'paralysis for 45 seconds.

Slow

Your movement speed decreases to a huge extent. There is no recovery method. You will just have to wait till the effect wears out.

Poison

You will suffer continuous damage over time. There is no recovery method but the Venom Guard Support Magi gives you anti-poison buff to prevent yourself from getting poisoned. Recovery Magi like Pure Cure can cure the poison completely Some equipment may also have the ability of Poison Resist, which helps you recover faster.

Burn

If you have been burned, you will also suffer continuous damage over time. However, you can (dodge) roll around for a faster recovery. The Frozen Nova Attack Magi also helps to stop and heal burns.

Freeze

You are frozen into a block of ice. You must swipe repeatedly to break out of the ice. You allies/you can rescue each other from the ice by tapping on each other's ice.

Silence

When this happens, you will not be able to use Magi

Slip

Hinders your movement making it difficult for you to move. Just think of it as if you are slipping over a puddle of water everytime you move :P

Events

Tap on NPC: Linton to participate in events! Events are released for a limited time only and you will be rewarded upon completion. Event rules and content vary per event.

Event Types:
Story Events
Expedition
Daily Material Quests
Arena
Tower
Grandprix
Battle Royale
Defense Battle

Story Events

Story Events are similar to Story Missions, except it is on a event limited time map. They often come in many Chapters; Chapter 1, 2, 3 etc and rewards you a generous amount of  Gems, Tickets and Event Equipment upon completion

Expeditions

Expedition is where you can put your teamwork to the test. In a party of 4, your party will be given an expedition map and all of you will have to work together to hunt down and defeat a Behemoth within the time limit. Expeditions rewards you with exclusive event limited materials that are needed to evolve your Event Equipment and Ability Crystals which can boost your damage etc.

Material Events

Material Events usually task you to obtain material from a specific behemoth in the field. Every weekday, Material Events for different Behemoth will appear in the Event tab. (e.g. Mumu and Vacca on Friday.) From this event, you can obtain boss monster-exclusive enhancement rewards through quest completion rewards.

 Arena

This is where you can gauge where you stand among the community.
The Arena is a 28-day epic championship event where Hunters battle solo against a series of Behemoths and only hunters level 50 and above can participate in it. It is split into groups and each group have it's own characteristics and rules. (e.g. Only allow the use of specific weapon or element etc.) For each group, there are 5 ranks of battles to clear. The ranks are how you prove yourself worthy of joining the leaderboard.

Rank C - Rank B - Rank A - Rank S - Rank SS

You must attain victory in Rank C first before progressing to B, A, S and finally SS. As you progress up the ranks, the behemoths become stronger and harder to defeat.

*Take note that gems cannot be used to revive yourself in arena. You fail if you die*

Tower

In Tower, hunters can challenge themselves to see how far they can reach in a party of 4 against a tower filled with behemoths. Each floor has it's own first-time clear rewards when you defeat a behemoth and players are also rewarded items for the total points obtained. To score high, you have to defeat as many behemoth as you can. The higher floor you go, the higher your points. Each floor also has it's own set time limit. Defeating behemoth and breaking their parts adds additional time.

*Take note that gems cannot be used to revive yourself in Tower.*

You will have to depend on your party members to revive you. If they fail to do so before your death countdown time, you will enter Spectator Mode where you can watch your party mates screen instead. If your party members defeat the behemoth while you are dead, you will be revived automatically with little HP on the next floor.

Grandprix

Points are earned from defeating behemoths from Summon Quests or those encountered on the field. Gifts will be awarded through "Ranking Rewards" and "Total Obtained Point Rewards". Defeat as many behemoth as you can to earn yourself an exclusive event equipment!

Battle Royale

Team up with 7 other hunters to take down behemoths on event field! Defeating the final boss will reward you with it's tablet (1 time only), Rainbow High Lapis, Summon Tickets, Potions, Exilirs, Ingots and more! Oh yeah it gives good EXP too!

Quests

Tap on NPC: Axel in town to join in Quests with other hunters

There are 3 types of Behemoth Quests:
Available Quests,
My Quests, and
Shadow Quests.

Available Quests
These are open quests hosted by other Hunters. Each party can only have a maximum of 4 hunters and you can start the battle alone/without having 4 hunters. From other hunter's open quest, you will earn materials which is used to enhance equipment and even tablets which is used to forge equipments! *Less than 1% chance of tablet dropping. Tablet only drop from original behemoth not shadow*

Your Quests
After you summon a behemoth from Gacha Shop, the behemoth you summoned will appear in this section. Behemoth in this section are quests that you can host and because you are the host, it is guaranteed that you will get a Tablet when you defeat it. Tablets are used to forge equipment. You can only use the each tablets once to create 1 equipment. So in order to get a full set, you will need to summon and defeat the behemoth 5 times with you as the host. (or you can pray to god to get tablet from other hunter's open quest less than 1% chance :P)

Shadow Quests
These are when you battle Shadow versions of the Behemoth (e.g. Shadow Nura instead of Queen Nura). Defeating behemoths in the Shadow Quests will only earn you the materials needed to enhance your equipment. There will be no tablet drops.
