[SS Magi] Zapheres

Magi Description:

Spawns cubes which pursue the target. Deals Lightning DMG & decreases enemy's Lightning resistance by 50% for 10 seconds

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

One of the popular magi along with Jupiter's Descent. (as of 23/04/2018) Fast charge time and cast time, decreases behemoth's lightning resistance by 50% for 10 seconds and it's long range! The multiple cubes are able to hit weak markers, increasing the fatigue gauge more quickly. However, on the other hand, the cubes hitting the weak markers would give GS users no chance to hit the weak markers which in turn might make it slower to fatigue enemies.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Kiyodo: "The consistent lightning DEF debuff makes this magi very useful for parties with lightning sets. Can also glitch out and continue attacking behemoths during animations where the players have no control, like against Mercurius' hurricane wipe."

Chronos: "2nd Best" (as of 03/04/2018)

Dazai: "That debuff is so good I wanna cry and its long range."

Crzyapple: "Must have magi for Lightning user, The best element defense debuff we can have that make lightning element OP" (as of 15/12/2018)

[SS Magi] Toppling Crux

Magi Description:

Paralyze with flurry of lightning strikes for 20 sec

Cooldown:

40 Seconds

Review:

Super Fast Charge Rate! Has a chance to paralyze the behemoth but deals low damage. Best used with fast hitting weapons like Heat spear for higher chances to paralyze the behemoth.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Kiyodo: "It's a spammable magi with a very short cooldown to complement its moderate DMG. Adding a Neurotoxin effect to this magi is simply a plus. Pairs well with normal spear, heat spear, all DB, and all SnS, since a high ATK SPD means more opportunities to paralyze."

Chronos: "hit, cast, hit, cast"

Dazai: "Short cooldown, short range, short cast, moderate dmg, and may paralyze the behemoth all the things you want for lightning in 1 magi."

[SS Magi] Thunder Smite

Magi Description:

Fires a massive lightning beam at the target, anti-stagger during casting

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

Looks cool like kamehameha (Soul DB laser skill xD). Long charge time and casting time but anti stagger during casting. This magi is best used only when the behemoth is fatigued because the channeling time is around 4-5 seconds. If the behemoth move away while you are casting, you will be hitting the air for 5 seconds.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Kiyodo: "Behemoths are coded to know when exactly when a player casts magi. While taking a few years to channel this magi, the behemoth will most likely move out of the way of your beam, making the caster useless for about 5 seconds. Can be useful against paralyzed or fatigued behemoths, but the long channeling time is a huge drawback. In addition to that, any parts broken causes the behemoth to flinch backwards, which may move them out of your beam. It has the same major flaw as soul DB, but with a much longer channeling time to make it even worse. The high DMG slightly makes up for this."

Chronos: "KAKAROTTT"

[SS Magi] Thundering Maelstorm

Magi Description:

Major storm for lightning DMG

Cooldown:

Fast Charge time, good single burst damage. A good spammable lightning magi for magi spam playstyle.

[SS Magi] Thor Decree

Magi Description:

Cosmic flash; lightning DMG, electrocution

Cooldown:

165 Seconds

Review:

Fast Cast time and is able to inflict shock debuff on water element behemoth. However it has very slow charge time, and is close ranged yet not anti stagger. Recommend to get other lightning magi like Jupiter's descent instead.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Kiyodo: "Provides a high-utility shock debuff to water behemoths, but the long cooldown makes this magi an all-or-nothing play. Shock is highly valued, but this magi can easily be interrupted since it is close-ranged and does not give anti-stagger or invulnerability like Altair's Blade."

Chronos: "Awaken mat"

[SS Magi] Tempest Flume

Magi Description:

High-speed missile. Deals lightning DMG

Cooldown:

Deals Average damage and has fast charge time. Overall a magi that doesnt stands out in any way xD There are other magi out there you should get instead like Jupiter's Descent!!!

[SS Magi] Jupiter's Descent

Magi Description:

Rains lightning DMG & paralyzes; increases lightning DMG by 50% for 30 sec

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

A very popular magi used everyone if they got one. (as of 23/04/2018) It fires 10 lightning bolts (10 hits) from the top on the behemoth, good for breaking parts. It has fast charge time, able to inflict paralysis debuff on the behemoth, and increase lightning DMG by 50%.  How great is that?! Use this magi as an opener and then cast another lightning atk magi for 50% UP lightning DMG buff on your 2nd lightning magi for maximum damage. However it is not anti stagger which means it can be interrupted when casting so make sure you get to a safe spot!

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Kiyodo: "Arguably one of the best attack magi in the game (as of 2018/3/27). The combination of high DMG, paralysis, lightning ATK boost, global range, and an AoE makes this magi extremely powerful even when you're not using a lightning set. Hits up to 10 times and the first proc buffs lightning DMG for the remaining hits (up to 9 more), so this magi feels like it's stronger than it was meant to be. Pairs well with normal GS, heat GS, and soul bow since these playstyles typically require a long charge time."

Chronos: "ggwp"

MissBadWolf: "What can I say but wow what a useful magi! The paralysis effect it has is wonderful! The damage is great as well! I use it with my lightning heat spear set to two hit level 150-200 pherioph in the expedition! One hit Jupiter’s to damage and paralyze and then one powerful sky fall to end it. Tower this magi is super useful to help cancel ultimates and paralyze the behemoth to give your team crucial moments to revive, heal or do massive damage on immobile behemoths. It’s a fast casting magi and normally hits behemoths even if they are on the move. It’s definitely a magi that will stay current! (Get it electrical current? Lol) I would give Jupiter’s a 10/10 and say of all of the thunder/elec magi it’s one you definitely want to have!"

Dazai: "Gives lightning buff, paralyzes behemoths and its a long range magi."

[SS Magi] Diabolical Tornado

Magi Description:

Calls forth a tornado dealing lightning DMG.

Cooldown:

Deals Single High Burst Damage, fast charge time and cast time. Recommended to use Jupiter's Descent Lightning DMG Up buff or Thunderous Cloak before casting this magi for maximum damage. Great as a finisher!

Dazai: "Firestorm but lightning."

[SS Magi] Cupid's Bolts

Magi Description:

Fires 3 lightning arrows at the enemy that deal Lightning DMG and Paralysis. *Can be controlled while activated.

Cooldown:

90 Seconds

Review:

A long range magi, fast charge time, and is able to inflict Paralysis Debuff on the behemoth. However your character cannot move while casting the magi (until all 3 lightning arrows are fired). Make sure you are at a safe spot before casting.

[SS Magi] Altair Blade

Magi Description:

Rapid lightning DMG; shocks water enemies
Invulerable during slashing animation

Cooldown:

130 Seconds

Review:

Long charge time and cast time but it deals high damage (4 slashes). When you are casting, you are invulnerable to attacks so you can make use of the slashing animation to dodge the behemoth's attack. However, do take note that "Shock" interrupts the behemoth and unfatigues the behemoth from fatigue mode.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Kiyodo: "The underdog anti-water magi. Interrupts the behemoth multiple times due to its shock effect. Many water behemoths have a slow startup to their attacks, making constant interruption very useful. The caster is invincible during cast and the magi has a very long cast duration, making it viable as an anti-wipe magi. Exceptions include behemoths with long-lasting wipe moves like Fiery Gorynych."

Chronos: "Swing, swing, wtf the shock unfatigued it"

Dazai: "Iframe while you fast and puts water behemoths into shock thats kinda funny."

[SS Magi] Neptune's Impaler

Magi Description:

Huge spear impales enemy with earth DMG; slows & weakens lightning enemies
fills fatigue gauge by a little

Cooldown:

135 Seconds

Review:

My favourite earth magi! (as of 01/04/2018). (Eventhough it says Neptune Impaler, apparently it's an earth magi). High Single Burst damage, Auto aims, gives Slow (Reduce move speed) and Weak (Reduce attack speed) debuff, and it is one of the very few magi that can hit flying behemoth/behemoth while on air. It also fills the fatigue gauge by a little. However it has long charge time and cast time. Its a pure damage earth magi so it's best combined with Cloak/Tranquil.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Tempest: "A very powerful, auto tracking (will hit behe regardless of the range) andcan be cast from anywhere and hit. Single target so it's not good at killing mobs on field and has sluggish fill rate"

Dazai: " Funniest magi I have ever seen. It does great damage, it slows down atk and move speed if your behemoth is lightning to. Now thats just mean. I would recommend picking up one."

[SS Magi] Nature's Descent

Magi Description:

Multiple beams of light for earth DMG; increases Fatigue gauge

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

High damage, enormous AOE and Global Range, this is the best magi for AOE farming (as of 01/04/2018). It hits multiple times followed by one final high damage attack which makes it good for breaking parts. It also fills the fatigue gauge by a little. This is one of the few magi that can hit flying behemoth/behemoth while in air. It has long charge and cast time but the magi's Pros outweigh the Cons so it doesnt really matter to me :P Just make sure you are at a safe spot before casting.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "great damage but... i cant see anything"

Kiyodo: "Has an extremely large AoE and is great for breaking parts. The global cast range and high DMG makes up for its long channeling duration. Arguably one of the best field-farming magi currently available (as of 2018/3/27)."

MissBadWolf: "Natures Descent is also a favorite attack magi of mine! After hearing it so much I think we all know that sweet chime sound that plays as we cast natures by now. You breath a sigh of relief if you hear it and know that sweet damage is about to come raining down from the heavens to annihilate the tiresome beast you’re battling. It’s cast time is slower than I would prefer but still pretty fast, and that beautiful earth storm opens up above your behemoth it’s mesmerizing to watch the streams of light and the final blast wreak devastation on the behemoths. It’s a great attack magi and I would give it a 10/10. It’s saved my life many times."

Tempest: "Great farming magi, Aoe Damage and can be cast from anywhere. Good for part breaking and has quite fast fill rate. However it can be laggy on older devices, blinding, and area of effect can be escaped"

Dazai: "VERY good magi, big aoe, increases fatigue bar, perfect earth magi."

Cooldown:

First Earth attack magi that gives poison debuff. It does damage over time and is good for breaking parts. It has long charge time and long cast time and short range. But it has anti-stagger buff which is helpful in this situation.

Dantez: "Fast charge fast cast even you hit by the behemoth still will hit it and good damage with 2 hit damage. But it's not good for fast flying behemoths it will miss the hit when they fly within the cast"

[SS Magi] Earth's Arsenal

Magi Description:

Summons weapons to pierce x5; earth DMG

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

This was the first earth magi i got and... I never use it ever since..
Long charge time and animation, frequent miss on fast moving behemoth, short range and average damage. However, it has 5 hit attack thus it's good for breaking (if it hits LOL). You will have to consider the behemoth position when casting as 5 hits takes time, and if you manage to break it in the first few hits, the behemoth will be pushed back so not all your hits might land.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Aim... crap it moved"

Kiyodo: "Has the potential to break multiple parts since it hits 5 times, but the DMG is below average. Cast direction can be changed while channeling, but not during cast. This is one of the few magi that can hit flying behemoths, but most flying behemoths don't stay in the air for very long. Nor do they fly perfectly still so that your hits actually land."

Tempest: "Five hits, Fast cast and Good Damage. However it is an old magi (outdated) (as of 29/03/2018). Part break (therefore may miss a few shots), sluggish fill rate and close range"

Tempest: "Fast charge magi, fast cast magi. Invincible while cast (in the air). The two slashes is useful to dodge attacks. However it is not as powerful as other more recent magi. (as of 29/03/2018) One slash may part break, and the other slash misses behe. Not long invincibility, so don't expect to never get hit and it's really close range"

High damage and anti stagger during casting. This is also directionable, which means you can specifically aim for the behemoth weak spot. [SS Magi] Dragon's Manifest

Magi Description:

Summons 8 sea dragons dealing water DMG; decreases water DEF of enemy by 50% for 30 sec

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

One of the best water magi around. (23/03/2018) Auto aims and hits 8 times while inflicting a -50% water dmg resistence debuff on the behemoth! You can pair this with another water attack magi in a weapon with 2 slots. Cast Dragon's manifest for the debuff then cast your second water magi. Easy kill! It has a fast charging time of 100 seconds but long cast time estimated about 3seconds. Just make sure you are in a safe position before casting it.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Good damage and Use dat water def debuff"

ZanGod: "Well I spent 5k gems to get 1. What is more to say? This water magi is considered the best in game atm and for water set with 2 atk slots this is a must to use. Fast and heavy dmg and 50% water def debuff. This can totally destroy a fire behemoth. Only side back is slightly longer casting but other than that. You can't find a better water magi atm (23/03/2018). Zan OP rating - OP indeed"

Lanesra: "Water def reduce and big dmg. Can be combined with other magi pretty easy. Less def down time for water def and relatively casting time. Overall 5/5. OP as fuccchhh"

Kiyodo: "Fires water dragon torrents that hit the target up to 8 times and the first proc boosts water DMG for the remaining hits (up to 7 more), which astoundingly boosts the DMG output of this magi. The magi automatically tracks and chases its target until it dissipates after 2 seconds or lands the hit. If the target becomes untargetable at any point, the water dragon torrents will continue to circle the target until it becomes targetable. WARNING: Casting this magi without a target will result in 0 DMG since the torrents will just fly off the screen."

One reason why people like to use this is because it can cancel ultis. However do take note that the freeze debuff can also cancel fatigue. If you want to use it, make sure u use it at the very last second of fatigue after your team mates have casted their skills/skyfalls. Do NOT use it at the beginning. Your team mates will be sooooo mad :P

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Good at stopping ultis and decent damage. Screw dumbasses that use it when a behemoth is fatigued."

ZanGod: "This one is one of the old fav. Dmg is ok but it’s main use is the ability to cancel ulti like adzaja / gory. It can save your life! The wide range makes it easy to use. Definitely a Long term keeper. Zan OP rating - Quite OP"

Kiyodo: "The quick channeling duration and guaranteed freeze effect is highly viable for stopping wipe moves, especially when a party does not have the SPWEAK weapon type to stop them. On top of that, it deal high burst DMG, making this magi viable in multiple situations. Useful for dealing 100k+ DMG to behemoths during BINGO events."

Dazai: "So you are telling me you can cancel anything and hit the behemoth again just to mess with him?"

[SS Magi] Glacier Lance

Magi Description:

Mighty polar blast for water DMG

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

Slow charge rate and long cast time (about 4 seconds). Recommended to use it during fatigue as it's not anti stagger. There are alot of better water magi than this as of 23/03/2018 :P

Kiyodo: "The global range does not make up for its lack of DMG, long channeling duration, and slightly long cooldown."

Dazai: "Cast time is way to long and you dont have anti stagger. Plus the damage isn’t that good."

[SS Magi] Ice Blade Cross

Magi Description:

Blade of ice for incredible water DMG

Cooldown:

Review:

Insanely fast charge rate and almost instant cast time. Spammable magi but the damage is weak. Suitable for people with magi spam playstyle!

Chronos: "Spam spam spam" LOL

Kiyodo: "This magi has a near-instant cast and invincibility frames during cast, similar to Cross Cut. Although it may not deal a lot of DMG, the short cooldown makes up for it. The invincibility duration is relatively short, so it may require in-depth behemoth mechanic knowledge and skillful timing to pull off consistently."

Dazai: "Short CD Short range shorty short short XD"

[SS Magi] Raging Geyser

Magi Description:

Rune attack; 5 waves of intense water DMG

Cooldown:

Auto tracks the behemoth and hits 5times and it's long range! However the damage is average, charge time is slow and can easily miss if the behemoth have long distance dodge ability.

[SS Magi] Undertow

Magi Description:

5 aqua arrows; increases Fatigue gauge & deals water DMG

Cooldown:

90 Seconds

Another spammable water magi with fast charge rate and cast time. It hits 5 times, helping to fill the fatigue gauge but it deals low damage. Has long animation time which is risky as you might get interrupted by the behemoth.

[SS Magi] Surf Edge

Magi Description:

Charging waves for water DMG; increases Fatigue gauge

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

High damage, fast charge time, decent cast time and helps to fills the fatigue gauge. One interesting thing is that it gives invulnerability window during the surf animation! This means you can dodge the behemoth ultis or skills by using this magi if you time it right.

Chronos: "Best ultimate dodger. Good damage. Best paired with Tsunami."

Kiyodo: "Decent for field-farming, since you can surf your way across the map. The DMG is moderate and its invincibility during cast can be useful for dodging wipe moves. Exceptions include behemoths with long-lasting wipe moves like Fiery Gorynych. Unlike Altair's Blade, this i-frame magi does not give a buff or debuff effect, which limits its party utility."

Dazai: "Surfs up dude!!!! A fun strong magi to always make fighting behemoths fun"

[SS Magi] Tsunami

Magi Description:

Epic wave; water DMG, increase fire DEF for 30 sec

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

One of the best water magi around besides Dragon's Manifest. Deals high burst damage, large aoe hitbox, and increases your fire defence for 30 seconds. However it has Slow charge time but decent cast time of about 2 seconds. It is very useful for mobbing and directly hitting behemoth weak points and... it has cool animation! :P

[SS Magi] Blau Morphose

Magi Description:

Creates a butterfly that pursues the target for a period of time. Deals Water damage and freezes your enemies.

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

This Magi auto tracks the behemoth, hitting weak markers which will help to increase the fatigue gauge. It is also able to inflict Freeze debuff on the behemoth. However, it deals weak damage and the damage dealt is accumulated over time.  Personally i dont like it as I prefer skills that deals high damage at once instead of accumulation. Imagine during fatigue, the butterflies be like slowly damaging it while another skill could slam 500k+ damage right away. Eventhough the damage is weak, sometimes it can help to freeze behemoth, cancelling it's ulti. But do take note that it might freeze the behemoth and cancel fatigue mode.

Chronos: "Blue butterflies that deal weak ass damage and covers your screen. Annoying cuz it freezes when it fatigues."

Kiyodo: "The chance to freeze an enemy with this magi is very low and its DMG is negligable. However, you can get lucky and interrupt behemoths with a random freeze proc. In Dragon Project Global (as of 2018/3/27), the freeze effect has not been buffed yet and is very easy to break out of, so this magi heavily relies on its very low chance of interrupting behemoths."

Dazai: "Attack of the Butterflies. Freeze every thing..."

[SS Magi] Meteor Strike

Magi Description:

Huge fiery meteor; increases Fatigue gauge & deals fire DMG

Action:

Summons huge meteors to stun and deal fire DMG anywhere on the map

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

Global range! (Love magis that are global range so i can cast it safely LOL) But has a long cooldown. 4 meteors will go raining down on the behemoth and deal damage. If the behemoth is fast moving then there's a high chance missing

[SS Magi] Grenat Morphose

Magi Description:

Creates a butterfly that pursues the target for a period of time. Deals fire damage and Earth Element foes will be burned

Action:

Command a kaleidoscope of fiery butterflies that chases down behemoths and deal fire DMG!
Their attack might also cause behemoths to burn!

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

Decent charge time and cast time but it takes time for the butterflies to slowly reach the behemoth and slowly attacking it LOL. It's a damage per second type of skill, which can help to increase fatigue gauge faster as the butterflies can hit weak markers. Personally i dont like it as I prefer skills that deals high damage at once instead of accumulation. Imagine during fatigue, the butterflies be like slowly damaging it while another skill could slam 500k+ damage right away.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Lanesra: "Feels weak and seems to be outclassed by other magi. Warning not recommending using with bow (as i do). Damage numbers appearing everywhere so hard to hit markers. Overall not good"

ZanGod: "One of the oldest fire magi but i love this alot also because of it's auto tracking, fast cooldown and comes with a burn effect which is effective on tough benemoths. If you add vulcan before casting, the DMG is quite decent and works with fire bow as well. It's damage might be slow but best to cast at the beginning of the battle."

Chronos: "Distracts behemoth with butterflies" LOL

Aikeva: " Burn Debuff on Earth Behemoths, Global Tracking and Decent Charge Time. Cons would be Slow Projectiles. Might not utilize full damage if behemoths are always moving and takes time to dish out full damage"

Kiyodo: "Burns earth enemies, but a consistent burn effect does not make up for the lack of raw DMG."

Dazai: "Attack of the Butterflies. Burn all to bits(mostly earth type behemoths)..."

Instant cast and is the fastest Cooldown of 50seconds among all the fire magi available as of today (15/03/2018). But it's also the lowest damage SS magi :') It's spammable so you can use it against morphose to prevent it from changing elements

[SS Magi] Crimson Dragonflame

Magi Description:

Summons a flaming dragon for fire DMG

Action:

A fiery dragon apparition will rise from the ground and deal fire DMG on your behalf.
Almost Supernatural!

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

Pretty cool magi with the summoning of the dragon to attack the behemoth :P
Deals decent damage and decent charge time, but has fast casting time and long ranged. Not the best and there are better magi in the future.. (as of 10/03/2018). But it would be a good to combine this magi and Blistering Claw to boost the damage if your weapon has 2 attack slots. (E.g. Halley spear)

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Fast without burn. Rip"

3k3Raider: "It has fast casting time and also deals a good amount of damage on top of the debuff from Blistering Claw. If somehow the Behemoth is still alive, just end the battle with a skyfall".

ZanGod: "I like its fast casting and speed of attack. Range is good and can be used as a combo with Blistering Claw. Cool down is not too bad. Damage decent".

Aikeva: "Fast Cast Animation Time, Decent Charge Time, Global Long Range (To infinity and beyond) and Higher than average Damage. Cons: No Burn Debuff"

Kiyodo: "The high DMG and quick cast time makes this magi useful in many situations. Also great for field-farming when you stand at one end of the map and cast it towards the other end."

Dazai: "A nice op dragon flies in a straight line. I feel bad for the behemoth."

MissBadWolf: "Crimson Dragonflame is my all time favorite attack magi! Maybe because I love fire, and I love dragons haha, but it packs an extremely powerful punch. Have seen my damage numbers reach close to 500k on fatigued earth behemoths in higher level tower floors. And lower and medium earth floors of the tower, It will one hit some level 150 behemoths. My favorite to use on Wicked Blossom King because he’s a pain to fight with all that jumping haha. But it has an unlimited range, so you can be on the complete opposite side of the battle field of the behemoth and still destroy them (like if you’re running from the ultimate of WBK lol), it will miss occasionally if you have a very fast behemoth that moves a lot, but typically the cast time is so fast it’s almost an instant hit. Compared to other magis I’ve never seen one cast so quickly, which is great because there’s nothing worse than being hit while casting and losing that magi cast whether it be attack, heal or support that’s always a game changer. Can win or lose from one magi, so that speedy cast has saved me many times especially in tower when you’re last man standing carrying with seconds on the timer clutching for the whole team. It is an asset for me against Earth behemoths. Would rate it an 11/10 if possible."

[SS Magi] Conflagrate

Magi Description:

Deals fire DMG. Temp boosts fire ATK
Gives a +50% fire dmg buff for 30 sec,
Anti-stagger during casting

Action:

Ignites a destructive fire attack

Cooldown:

140 Seconds

Review:

It deals massive amount of damage and at the same time gives you +50% fire DMG buff for 30 seconds which can be helpful. (Unless your using support magi buff like firestorm cloak which effects will replace conflagrate's buff. They dont stack.)

Downside is that it takes quite long to charge and has long cast time but it's anti-stagger during casting so there's no risk of the behemoth stopping you from activating the attack. It is also a close range attack.. (Personally, i dont like close ranged attack magis. I prefer far ranged attacks because then i can cast the magi safely without getting rekt while casting :P)

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Kaiyu: "Works well with Halley but takes some time to charge. Slightly longer cast time but decent damage (128k on weak point to fire behemoth no fatique)"

ZanGod: "I spent 2k gems for one of this. It used to be one of the best fire Magi but the Major drawback is it's long cool down. I like the anti staggering but it's attack radius is limited. Best used when behemoth is fatigued. The 50% fire buff is not that great as most of the time im using vulcan anyway"

Ratch: "It's a good magi because of its high DMG and fire atk buff. The only issue is the short range but it compensates with the anti stagger while casting. You have to take care when and where you cast it"

Chronos: "The fake cloak with slow recast"

Aikeva: "50% Fire Damage buff (applies to conflagrate as well) and Anti-stagger while casting. However it has slow Charge time, longer than average cast animation time, short range, and narrow width hitbox. Buff doesn’t stack with cloak/fury. Using other attack magi is recommended if you are using fire buff support magi"

Kiyodo: "Boosting your own fire DMG is very useful, since it can carry over to later floors in the Beast Tower or Altair Arena. The DMG is also decent."

Dazai: "Gives fire buff but cant stack with cloaks"

Magi Description:

Rush attack; Fire DMG & restore some HP
Recovers HP equal to 1% of DMG dealt

Action:

Literally Dash forward with flame of explosions :P

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

Heal 1% of the damage dealt.. So if i skyfall 500k, It'll heal 5k! Great for weapons that has no heal slot (Like the Halley Set) as it heals and deals damage at the same time! Of course, the damage won't be high :P

Kiyodo: 'The low DMG and very short cast range do not make up for the 1% it heals. It's simply not enough."

Dazai: "Better magi out there"

[SS Magi] Blazing Palms

Magi Description:

Blasts of fire. Burns earth enemies

Action:

Shoots out flames from your character's palm horizontally and vertically

Cooldown:

165 Seconds

Review:

Magi with the longest cooldown of 165seconds among the fire magi available (as of 15/03/2018). Decent cast time (about 1 second) and burns Earth enemies but the damage is not great. Also it has bad range so you might miss on fast moving behemoth and Bad range as in you have to be super close (like you're kissing the behemoth close).

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Slow recast, slow cast, bad range but it burns."

Aikeva: "Burn Debuff on Earth Behemoth, decent cast animation time but long ass Charge time. Might miss one of the two attack strikes if not aimed properly and low damage compared to other magi"

Kiyodo: "Very easy to miss at least one hit and the long cooldown makes it difficult to use consistently."

Dazai: "fun magi to use and it makes a X"

MissBadWolf: "Blazing palms is a good magi, it gives you two powerful bursts of damage. You have to be close to the behemoth to use, and try and get the right angle to get both bursts to hit. Cast time is fast, not as fast as others considering you have a higher risk of your cast being canceled by the behemoth the closer you are. It’s good for breaking parts and a great secondary attack magi to help Finnish off the last bit of health of a behemoth. I would say it is a 8/10 magi, because I prefer ranged magis the most for helping on the more challenging floors of tower or arena. Distance is key at critical times."

[SS Magi] Blistering Claw

Magi Description:

Fiery claw attacks; deals fire DMG & decreases enemy fire DEF
-50% fire resistance debuff on enemy for 30 sec

Action:

Slashing dragon claws for fire DMG
Weakens the monster's fire defence

Cooldown:

80 Seconds

Review:

Fast charging, decent damage , Long range and gives a -50% fire resistance debuff which is a bonus for team battles! Use 1 Blistering Claw in Halley spear set to boost the other fire atk magi in the 3rd slot. It's almost perfect except it's long casting time. What can i say?.. To every advantage there is a corresponding disadvantage :')

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Slow ass cast, but if it hits, decent damage"

3k3Raider: "Works well with Halley Spear, Charge pretty fast and deals decent DMG. Also provides fire debuff but has slow casting time. As a halley spear user with 2 offensive slot, im using another fire magi on the 2nd slot"

ZanGod: "My current favourite fire magi (as of 10/03/2018), i love this so much and i cant express it more. it's 50% fire def debuff is perfect combo with Crimson Dragon Flame or a skyfall. If you add vulcan to it? It's basically offset its sole weakness of long casting. The CD of both are also similar. Its range is very far in fact from one end to another. Furthermore you can still tweet the aiming a little. I think it looks really cool with future SNC"

Aikeva: "Faster than average charge time, 50% Fire Resistance Debuff as long as 1 scratches the behemoth, Auto Directional/Angle Tracking if behemoths moves and Far range. But it has long ass cast animation time, Susceptible to interruptions if no anti-stagger buff and may die mid-cast if did not time right. Projectiles fly at average speed. If behemoth moves fast (e.g mudigger rolling / fish swimming), the projectiles might not hit. Debuff may be very useless against Manic Rage Mode Behemoth"

Kiyodo: "Relatively safe to cast at mid-range. The -50% fire DEF debuff is useful for all party members equipped with fire sets. Its short cooldown makes it manageable to maintain the debuff. However, the claws fly out slowly, so it is not recommended against high mobility behemoths."

Dazai: "Nice Debuff,No anti-stagger on cast but good range and damage"

Crzyapple: Global range and gives elemental defense debuff on behemoth, the downside is its casting time so long and debuff only last for 10s, you need to be very calculating to fuly utilize this magi, best suited for weapon who can deal much damage in one blow like Heat greatsword and Heat Spear.

DReaper: It have global range cast and elemental debuff! But casting speed takes too long time, hard to use for magi spammer player. Also the debuff only lasted on short period of time, so better use in weapon that can deal big damage for a short time like gs
