[SS Magi] Star of Baldr

Magi Description:

Swing a large spiked metal ball to deal earth dmg, also lowers enemy's earth resistance by 50% for 10 seconds

Cooldown:

140 Seconds

Review:

A magi that provides Earth defense debuff and short range, perfect for short range weapon users. However the debuff is only for 10 seconds. So it would be nice to pair it with short ranged weapons that can woop out high damage in that 10 seconds (E.g. Burst gs).

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Dreaper: This magi effect area is short range and took long time to cast. Its really hard to use if behemoth moves a lot or paralyzing you while you're casting it. It reduce earth defense debuff for a short time. Recommended for short range user, especially for weapon that can deal big damage in a short time (so the weapon can take full advantage when earth defense is down)

Crzyapple: Earth elemental defense debuff, its always good to have defense debuffer the downside is like other defense debuffer magi (except the almighty zaperes) long cast time and very short debuff duration, and its close range so be carefull when cast it or get some antistager before casting

Shane: One of the top tier earth magi that lowers the behemoths earth ELE resistance by 50% on 2nd hit, however it's medium range, cast animation is slightly long with no anti-stagger while casting & the debuff is short (10s), therefore hunters may need to properly time their cast to make full use of it.

LeoNaxus: I'd say i don't like this magi, even with its debuffing effects. Why? The moment you click the magi, it auto aim the last position of the behemoth, so chances you'll miss like a lot.. long charge and long cast.. no no for me

[SS Magi] Christmas Surprise

Magi Description:

Summon a christmas tree from under enemies that spins and explode to deal earth dmg

Cooldown:

130 Seconds

Review:

A christmas magi with super long cast time without anti stagger.. (So you know what that means! time to die 😂) and the damage is not instant one hit damage. Theres no debuff whatsoever so you can just skip this magi to be honest ðŸ˜‚ Christmas.. SURPRISEEEE ðŸ˜‚

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Dreaper: Casting too long, not really good for magi spamming. A high risk getting canceled while casting. Not good for behemoth that moves a lot. Damage also not so high. All it can do is dealing damage, no debuff or poison and such. Not worth to pull

Crzyapple: Just an average magi

Shane: Christmas themed magi with global range, however has long cast time & animation.Overall meh & would recommend skipping unless you plan to get it for the Christmas animation 🎄

LeoNaxus: Christmas? Good times. But for the magi itself? Just no,

[SS Magi] Jack-O's-Lantern Bomb

Magi Description:

Throws a pumpkin at enemy and explodes to create poison mist, deals earth dmg and poison enemies

Cooldown:

140 Seconds

Review:

As compared to Miasmastic Blast; the other earth magi that gives a poison debuff, this magi is medium range while Miasmastic Blast is short range. This magi is better as you are in a lesser risk of getting hit by the behemoth. But it has long cast time and you might miss behemoth with fast movement speed. The only good thing i like about this magi is the Poison debuff. Other than that, i'd stick to Neptune Impaler personally (as of 17/12/2018)

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Dreaper: The good point of this magi is the poisoning effect and middle range. The casting speed is a bit long and hard to aim the behemoth that moves around a lot. Damage is not so good, i dont really reccomend this magi.

Crzyapple: If you are looking for posion magi this is your best choice (as of 15/12/2018)

Shane: Halloween themed magi with medium range & poisons behes, however it requires 2 hits for the poison to be applied & has a long cast time with no anti-stagger while casting so hunters may need to properly time their cast. Overall decent for a hunter that doesn't own any other earth magi or wants a magi with poison debuff.

LeoNaxus: Halloween theme magi, but its not that horrifying. Long cast makes it inaccurate for annoying behemoths. It has poison effect. Use it if you dont have any other earth magi

[SS Magi] Thrust Impact

Magi Description:

Holds a spear and dash forward in a Z-like track to deal earth dmg, anti-paralyze and move speed increase for 20 sec, anti-stagger during casting

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

This magi is similar to Xeonta Axe, with the ability to be immune to paralysis and gives a movement speed buff. It is only anti-stagger during casting as compared to Xeonta Axe, which gives an anti stagger buff for 10 seconds. The charge time is longer than Xeonta Axe, but its cast time is faster. This magi deals lesser damage as compared to Neptune Impaler. Also, Neptune Impaler is Global range, while this magi is only medium range.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Dreaper: The anti paralyze buff duration is pretty long and increase movespeed. Pretty useful for slow and short ranged weapon like great sword. Middle range casting. After finish casting, you will end up near the behemoth body, making it a bit hard for long ranged weapon. The damage is not as good as Neptune Impaler, but casting speed is faster.

Crzyapple: If you sick of paralysis this your best magi, give you anti-paralysis and incrase your movement speed, its the subtitute if you dont want to waste your supp magi slot for Smite spite

Shane: Medium range (zigzags towards the behe) with fast cast, anti-stagger while casting, anti-paralysis & speed buff on cast. Overall decent for a hunter that doesn't own any other magis with anti-paralysis buff.

LeoNaxus: The anti paralyze buff duration is pretty long and increase movespeed. Its useful for weapon like Heat GS, Burst GS.. slow weapon ? Dont worry this magi is good for you to have

[SS Magi] Xeonta Axe

Magi Description:

Dashes forward with an axe to deal earth dmg, gives anti-stagger for 10 sec and anti paralyze for 30 sec

Cooldown:

100 Seconds

Review:

A magi with high utility, it gives anti paralysis buff (30 secs) and anti stagger buff (10 secs). It has medium range, fast charging time and high damage. But it has long casting time.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos
: "Screw you stun but dont forget to roll back once"

Kiyodo: "The combination of massive burst DMG while buffing the caster with anti-stagger AND anti-paralysis gives this magi very high utility. It's a great overall magi that is viable in several situations. Useful for dealing 100k+ DMG to behemoths during BINGO events."

Dazai: "Rushing towards the behemoth with massive earth damage wasnt enough to make u want this magi how about anti paralzye for 30 secs?"

[SS Magi] Thunderous Boulder

Magi Description:

Earth DMG & paralysis immunityfor 30 seconds

Cooldown:

90 Seconds

Review:

Fast charge, gives an anti paralyze buff for 30 seconds; good for utility for anti paralyze with a little bit quicker charge rate as compared to Xenota Axe. However it deals low damage.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Screw you stun"

Kiyodo: "Anti-paralysis is highly valued against lightning type behemoths. The magi also features a relatively short cooldown and moderate DMG, which can be quite useful."

[SS Magi] Terra Cutter

Magi Description:

3 slicing attacks; increases Fatigue gauge & deals earth DMG

Cooldown:

70 Seconds

Review:

Fast charge spammable 3 hit attack magi. It is long range but it has low damage and long animation (can be interrupted when you are casting and executing the attack).

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Magaruda upgrade?"

Kiyodo: "Has the animation of an S-rank magi and deals about the same DMG as one. Not very useful."

[SS Magi] Stone Flash

Magi Description:

Boulder to attack & increase Fatigue gauge with earth DMG

Cooldown:

50 Seconds

Review:

Fast charge, and fast 3 hit animation. However it has low damage and it's close range. Spammable magi.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "screen blocker"

Kiyodo: "A spammable magi with moderate DMG. Fits the mage playstyle for those who prefer to deal more magi DMG than weapon DMG."

Dazai: "One of the shortest cool downs. Pretty decent damage and fast casting would recommend to people who like to have a fast charging magi"

[SS Magi] Neptune's Impaler

Magi Description:

Huge spear impales enemy with earth DMG; slows & weakens lightning enemies
fills fatigue gauge by a little

Cooldown:

135 Seconds

Review:

My favourite earth magi! (as of 01/04/2018). (Eventhough it says Neptune Impaler, apparently it's an earth magi). High Single Burst damage, Auto aims, gives Slow (Reduce move speed) and Weak (Reduce attack speed) debuff, and it is one of the very few magi that can hit flying behemoth/behemoth while on air. It also fills the fatigue gauge by a little. However it has long charge time and cast time. Its a pure damage earth magi so it's best combined with Cloak/Tranquil.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "best ggwp"

Kiyodo: "The slow and weaken effects from this magi are extremely useful against high mobility lightning behemoths, like Delirious Khong and Dark Leviathan. With global range, high burst DMG, and a decent channel time, this magi is quite powerful. Useful for dealing 100k+ DMG to behemoths during BINGO events."

Tempest: "A very powerful, auto tracking (will hit behe regardless of the range) andcan be cast from anywhere and hit. Single target so it's not good at killing mobs on field and has sluggish fill rate"

Dazai: " Funniest magi I have ever seen. It does great damage, it slows down atk and move speed if your behemoth is lightning to. Now thats just mean. I would recommend picking up one."

[SS Magi] Nature's Descent

Magi Description:

Multiple beams of light for earth DMG; increases Fatigue gauge

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

High damage, enormous AOE and Global Range, this is the best magi for AOE farming (as of 01/04/2018). It hits multiple times followed by one final high damage attack which makes it good for breaking parts. It also fills the fatigue gauge by a little. This is one of the few magi that can hit flying behemoth/behemoth while in air. It has long charge and cast time but the magi's Pros outweigh the Cons so it doesnt really matter to me :P Just make sure you are at a safe spot before casting.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "great damage but... i cant see anything"

Kiyodo: "Has an extremely large AoE and is great for breaking parts. The global cast range and high DMG makes up for its long channeling duration. Arguably one of the best field-farming magi currently available (as of 2018/3/27)."

MissBadWolf: "Natures Descent is also a favorite attack magi of mine! After hearing it so much I think we all know that sweet chime sound that plays as we cast natures by now. You breath a sigh of relief if you hear it and know that sweet damage is about to come raining down from the heavens to annihilate the tiresome beast you’re battling. It’s cast time is slower than I would prefer but still pretty fast, and that beautiful earth storm opens up above your behemoth it’s mesmerizing to watch the streams of light and the final blast wreak devastation on the behemoths. It’s a great attack magi and I would give it a 10/10. It’s saved my life many times."

Tempest: "Great farming magi, Aoe Damage and can be cast from anywhere. Good for part breaking and has quite fast fill rate. However it can be laggy on older devices, blinding, and area of effect can be escaped"

Dazai: "VERY good magi, big aoe, increases fatigue bar, perfect earth magi."

[SS Magi] Miasmatic Blast

Magi Description:

Summons 4 skulls dealing poison and earth dmg. Increases lightning DEF and immunity to stagger temporarily.

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

First Earth attack magi that gives poison debuff. It does damage over time and is good for breaking parts. It has long charge time and long cast time and short range. But it has anti-stagger buff which is helpful in this situation.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Crap i got killed while casting... stupid anti stagger"

Kiyodo: "Its casting range is short, but manageable. The anti-stagger buff is convenient since this magi has a long cast duration and the poison DoT effect is relatively impactful. However, the raw DMG of this magi is lackluster, bringing it down a notch."

Dazai: "Nice poison effect close range magi that gives angi stagger."

[SS Magi] Merry Christmas

Magi Description:

Summons Christmas trees. Deals Earth DMG

Cooldown:

130 Seconds

Review:

Global range, Large AOE attack. It has a two hit animation (Trees spawning and then circle around itself). Long charge time, long cast time and Moderate damage.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Weak Natures's Descent"

Kiyodo: "Although this magi has moderate DMG and global range, the trees it spawns from the ground are so large that they cover most of your screen if you are near the vicinity of the target. It's hard to fight what you can't see."

Dantez: "Fast charge fast cast even you hit by the behemoth still will hit it and good damage with 2 hit damage. But it's not good for fast flying behemoths it will miss the hit when they fly within the cast"

Dazai: "Santa came early to smack a behemoth with trees that do pretty good damage and it is long ranged."

[SS Magi] Gaia's Grace

Magi Description:

Summons energy for major Earth DMG

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

Long cast time and short range.. Vulnerable to interruptions. It's an outdated earth magi (as of 01/04/2018) However it's a single burst damage skill (thats about it LOL)

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Gotta make sure i don’t jump over it... dammit didnt jump far enuf"

Kiyodo: "Deals moderate DMG and lunges toward the enemy, which can be useful against behemoths with high mobility, but its overall utility is relatively limited."

Tempest: "Good Damage, AOE magi and it leaps towards behe. But it has sluggish fill rate and outdated (as of 29/03/2018) Sometimes misses leap (not reliable) and has long casting time before leap. You should replace with other earth magi ASAP"

Dazai: "Long magi charge long cast average damage there are better magi but it still looks kinda cool."

[SS Magi] Earth's Arsenal

Magi Description:

Summons weapons to pierce x5; earth DMG

Cooldown:

120 Seconds

Review:

This was the first earth magi i got and... I never use it ever since..
Long charge time and animation, frequent miss on fast moving behemoth, short range and average damage. However, it has 5 hit attack thus it's good for breaking (if it hits LOL). You will have to consider the behemoth position when casting as 5 hits takes time, and if you manage to break it in the first few hits, the behemoth will be pushed back so not all your hits might land.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Aim... crap it moved"

Kiyodo: "Has the potential to break multiple parts since it hits 5 times, but the DMG is below average. Cast direction can be changed while channeling, but not during cast. This is one of the few magi that can hit flying behemoths, but most flying behemoths don't stay in the air for very long. Nor do they fly perfectly still so that your hits actually land."

Tempest: "Five hits, Fast cast and Good Damage. However it is an old magi (outdated) (as of 29/03/2018). Part break (therefore may miss a few shots), sluggish fill rate and close range"

Dazai: "Isnt a heat seeker magi but it does somewhat good damage. It takes a little to long to cast for it not having anti stagger."

[SS Magi] Cross Cut

Magi Description:

Deals great Earth DMG with earth blades. Nullifies DMG midjump.

Cooldown:

70 Seconds

Review:

Fast charge and has a 2 hit invulnerable attack animation. However it has medium-low damage and has no debuff effect. You can use the two hit attack animation to avoid the behemoth's attack.

Rating:

I believe everyone have different playstyles. So instead of rating the Magi according to myself, i will include other player's opinion also. This way you can have a better overview of the Magi from different perspective.

Lets hear em from the Elites!

Chronos: "Jump slash, slash, repeat"

Kiyodo: "Has a near instant cast, invincibility during cast, moderate DMG, and a short cooldown. The invincibility duration is relatively short, so it may require in-depth behemoth mechanic knowledge and skillful timing to pull off consistently."

Tempest: "Fast charge magi, fast cast magi. Invincible while cast (in the air). The two slashes is useful to dodge attacks. However it is not as powerful as other more recent magi. (as of 29/03/2018) One slash may part break, and the other slash misses behe. Not long invincibility, so don't expect to never get hit and it's really close range"

Dazai: "Reduces damage mid cut and does a good amount of damage it also doesnt take long to cast. But obviously close range magi"
