Clan OP Recruitment is Now Closed!

We are finally done with our recruitment!
A big shoutout to everyone who applied to join Clan OP! We received a lot of applications and trust me, it was a tough decision to select only 3. Everyone has their own unique strengths and talents (I wish i could keep all of you! TT) After thinking long and hard, we decided take in the following members..


ShiShui: Introduce yourselves Hunters!

Baroness: Pleased to meet you, I'm Baroness, a hunter from Indonesia.. I play this game since like day 3 of the game first released on SEA.. I'm not a whaler, not a dolphin either, I only buy monthly card

Annihalor: Hello I'm Annihalor and I'm also a F2P

sQuiphy: Hey, I'm Squiphy, from Brazil. I've been playing for a few weeks now. I'm a f2p hunter and I'm loving the game more and more.

ShiShui: How did you come across Clan OP and what made you want to join?

Baroness: I heard OP from several mentions in FB and my friend, Ayoner,  recomended OP as a good friendly clan. Then I saw OP post about review writing challenge, and I'm taking it, about time i share my knowledge to other hunter

Annihalor: I applied to join OP mainly because aikeva is there, yes I'm aikeva's fan. Also, I'm seeing OP as the most active and lively clan as compared with other clan. I play DP everyday with minimum 15 hour playing time a day and I see OP member often in game.

sQuiphy: Some OP members helped me before and I saw them helping a lot of people. Since then I have been wanting to join this wonderful team in order to help other players along with them ;)


ShiShui: What are some of your achievements?

Baroness: My achievements are probably around completion of event and such, I'm not a hardcore competitive player, but I usually try to take top tier rewards when events are going on

Annihalor: Grand Prix, because F2p player can be participate and have a fair amount of chance as P2w player. In the recent GrandPrix, I was ranked 11 at the end of the event.

sQuiphy: I always try to complete all the events and missions that are available without haste, but also without laziness. My favorite competition so far is the Grand Prix, where even f2p players can have the chance to win.


ShiShui: What are some of the challenges you've faced in game and how did u tackle them? 

Baroness: In-game challenge would probably be the Tower (especially the 200F), as my set is limited, and I will have to make do all I have and request help from other hunters.

Annihalor: The challange is that there are several events that are designed only for P2w players. For example altair arena, some bingo mission and gem managing system because f2p players only depend on free gems and other freebies that given by the game. At altair arena, I just go as far as i can... For cases like Bingo mission: "deal 1000 damage in 1 hit”, It's beyond f2p capability, and because of this many f2p player quit this game...

ShiShui: *Hints DP* :P

sQuiphy: I think the one of the biggest challenges is to be able to complete the set and magi. Each banner is really tempting, so some players end up spending their gems on every different banners. It takes patience to save a good amount of gems to have a real chance of getting a good set


ShiShui: As of now, how many sets do u have? 

Baroness: I have 5/7 Gorynich, 5/7 Azdaja, 4/7 Mercurius and 6/7 Fafnir

Annihalor: I have 7/7 aragami/fantail set, 6/7 farnir set and 5/7 mercurius set. Those 3 are my best sets

sQuiphy: My best are 7/7 gorynych, 7/7 azdaja and 4/7 fantail/aragami.


ShiShui: You guys mentioned y'all are F2P. Could u give the F2P players some tips on how they could advance in the game without spending?

Baroness: Sure, always plan well what you spend on, don't splurge on every banner. Every gem is counted, read reviews from other hunters, and make friends. tough events like tower will be much more easier when you do hunt with people you know

Annihalor: My tips for f2p will be.. do not spending any gem yet until you saving up to 4k gems... yes that is the hard part because you will only be wearing weak armor and weak weapon while saving gems. After saving 4k gems, you can spend them all at 1 banner so chances of getting 7/7 are much higher. Do not summon on magi banner until you got a great set ready or you can summon at magi banner when is it guaranteed SS magi.. Because without good set, your magi is useless

sQuiphy: Don't pull on impulse, save a fair amount of gems to increase your chances. I know that some events and missions can be quite complicated, so when you have difficulties don't be afraid to ask other players for help. Today i Was Almost Eaten Alive By..

"Shi! Have you heard the news?", Pamela asked as she walked towards me.

"What news?", my eyes widened.

"The Battle Royale! It's out!"

"Whaaaaat!? Wanna team up?", I bubbled with enthusiasm.

"Sure! But we'll need more people.", said Pamela. "Guess I'll go to town to recruit."

Meanwhile.. Alone in lounge..

"Ah this is so cool!" I was so excited i could barely control my excitement " Maybe i should go and take a sneak peek.." I tried the door knob and stepped into the portal behind the heavy iron-bound door. 

And.. was teleported in the middle of 10 Emphiteras!

"What happened while I was away in town?!", Pamela gasped in horror as she saw me covered in bandages.

I giggled bashfully, "Long story short, I was almost eaten alive by an army of Emphiteras."

"Again?", Pamela let out a small sigh as she crossed her arms.

Covering my face in my hands, I replied, "Yup.... Heh!"

Pamela shaked her head and casted Pure Cure to heal my injuries.

"So did you manage to recruit anyone?"

Just as i was asking Pamela, I heard a knock on the door

"Oh they're here!" Pamela exclaimed. "Welcome and thank you for joining our party."

"Apologies if i kept you waiting" they replied as they walked into the lounge.

The 2 who joined our party, Zan and Dantez introduced themselve before the 4 of us enter the portal together. 


We were teleported into a forest.

The grass was crispy beneath our feet because of the recent dry spell. We arrived at a wide glade, where the trees fell away, revealing the sky.

Sigzarthus, known for it's ferocity and majesty, sat literally like the king of the forest with it's forelegs crossed on top of each other, looking around for any signs of food at the center of the scene. 

It noticed us and stood up, then it crounched and was ready to pounce. Zan and i dodged it's attack as it jumped at us and managed to do a few hits on Sigzarthus's abdomen before leaping into the air and skyfalling down to it's neck in harmony.

It's life meter plummeted, reaching the zero mark and the team shared the blue chests Sigzarthus left behind as it vanishes into thin air. 

"That's it?", I said scratching the back of my head.

"I don't think it's that easy.." Dantez doubted.

"Hmm let's wait and see if anything's gonna happen", Pamela suggested.

We decided to venture deeper into the tangled heart of this primeval forest and prayed that the forest would reveal it's secret to us.

All seemed to be well until.. a gigantic figure flew past us above our heads. Then it drifted across our visions and landed right infront of us. It was Gorynych!

Gorynych's scales gleamed in the sunlight and violet streaks shot through them brighter than the sun. It's teeth could rip through armour and it's tail was as hard as rock. 

"You ready guys?" Zan swung his spear around as he charged at Gorynych. 
But Gorynych stretched it's wings and flew towards Pamela.

"I...", lost of words, Pamela took a step back.

In the nick of time, Dantez jumped in to defend Pamela while Gorynych swung it's tail.

Dantez hit the floor, his shield dented and paint damaged. Groaning in pain, he struggled to his feet, blocking the next attack from Gorynych. 

I sped over and used my spear to pierce Gorynych's chest. 
Gorynych staggered, flapping it's wings as he fought to balance himself. 

Pamela seeing this as an opportunity, ran up and plunged her sword into Gorynych's tail. And Zan leaped into the air with his spear again to do the last hit. 

Victory! 

Mad Gorynych's defeat dropped us a tablet which we used to craft the Halley Heat Spear.

Today i Met Mercurius

For a week, I was hunting behemoth of the sea. I've encountered and defeated  countless behemoth (6 Abaia, 2 Akra, and 4 Perioph and some Maniathalmus)

"These tablets should be enough!" I said as i gazed over the jewel blue sea to the line that divides the sea and the sky. Sometimes i wonder, how far am i from that line? How far away am i from the Kingdom of Heiland? As i believed behind that line is the Kingdom of Heiland where everyone is at. It keeps me calm to be able to see horizon while i am at sea.

I took one last glance at the scenery before i take a nap. Then i noticed something strange. There seemed to be a behemoth as i saw the shadow casted under the surface of the water.

"Must be another Abaia..." i thought to myself.

"Oh well one more abaia tablet for the people!" I said, keeping my eyes fixed on the shadow.

The menacing shadow enlarged as it got closer to the surface of the water. Then i realised it was too huge to be Abaia nor the other sea behemoth that i've met.

"No... It cant be!"

Then it appeared. Mercurius, one of the Legendary Creature of the sea (along with Leviathan and Fantail) . It was glowing blue, enormous yet majestic.

I've heard rumours about it and only 2 people had seen and survived it. I had to rub my eyes. I couldn't believe what i saw.

At that moment, i remembered a story of mercurius my mother had told me when i was little. Defeating it would get me a tablet that is different from what we already know. The tablet is embedded with a mysterious power that would grant people the ability to be immune to burn and could be sold for millions.

Mercurius was standing still and calm. But as I looked into its eyes, i could feel it searching deep into my soul.

Stormy clouds began to roll in, swallowing the last rays of sunlight. Mercurius summoned the waves to tower over and slamed my ship.

"I don't want to do this but you leave me no choice", I whispered.

I ran to the nearest cannon on my ship and started shooting at Mercurius but it was to no avail. Mercurius dived into the sea.

"Did mercurius retreat?"

Projectiles started appearing in mid air and a tempest of lances was rasping through the dark sky. Luckily i managed to take shelter behind a huge pillar and remained silent.

5 minutes passed and i heard no signs of Mercurius. I decided to head out to take a sneak peak at what is happening.

Somehow, Mercurius knew and surged through the ship to the other side.

At that moment, i felt as if i could hear my heart pounding on my ribcage. Images of my family and friends appeared in my mind. Then i recalled what Ange said back then when she agreed to lend me her ship.

"Do not use the captain's cannon unless you faced an HUGE emergency. It is a magic cannon that can only be activated once as it takes 10 years to recharge before it can be used again."

"Ange this is an emergency right?" I screamed at the sky.

Magic Cannon countdown...

2..
1..

And a gash of radiant blue light broke through Mercurius and disappeared into the cauldron-black sky.

Victory!


Mercurius's defeat dropped me a tablet and i used it to forged the 1st Astral Spear in the Kingdom of Heiland.
